The City of Webster will conduct a General Election on May 6, 2017.
The filing period to apply for a place on the General Election ballot is January 18 through February 17, 2017. Mayor and Council Member Position 6 will be on the May ballot.
Incumbents respectively are Donna Rogers and Martin Graves. Election packets for interested candidates are available on the City’s website at cityofwebster.com.
Residents must be registered to vote by April 6, 2017, if you wish to vote in the May 6 election. Voter registration cards are available at the Harris County Clerk’s Office. Don’t forget to bring your picture ID to vote.
The deadline for submitting an application for a ballot to be voted by mail is April 25, 2017.
Early voting will be conducted in the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall, 101 Pennsylvania Avenue as follows:
April 24- April 27- 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m., April 28- 7:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m., May 1 & 2- 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.
On Election day, voting will be conducted at the Webster City Hall from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. A voting device to assist voters with a disability will be available during early voting and on Election Day. For more information contact the City Secretary’s office at 281.332.1826
