For the past thirty years, Council Member Position 2, Andrea Wilson has called Webster home. She married her husband, Henry 26 years ago, and they have raised their son, Andrew, 24, in Webster. Two Labrador Retrievers, a Blue Heeler Chaser, and a registered Texas Longhorn complete the family.
Andrea said she has remained in Webster all these years because of it’s safe, friendly environment and the hometown feeling that has come to be Webster’s hallmark.
She has been in the healthcare industry for over 35 years, while also serving on many for-profit, and nonprofit boards and organizations. She has served on the City of Webster Parks and Recreation Board, the Advisory Board for The Longhorn Project, Speakers Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Clear Creek ISD and Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families, and much more.
She was installed as a council member on the Webster City Council in May of 2015 to serve a three-year term. During her time on council, she hopes to continue to enhance the quality of life for residents and to position the City for expansion so that Webster remains the City of choice for developers, businesses, and employees.
